Work Order Relationships |

The Work Order Relationships screen allows you to associate work orders with order work orders based on a parent/child relationship. Once a work order has children work orders, it becomes a parent. A parent work order cannot be closed until all dependent children work orders have been closed. This screen only has the Basic Info tab and is outlined below.
Data in the detail view area of window provides more information about work order relationships.
Parent work order ID
This is the identifier of the parent work order. This must be a valid ID.
Equipment ID
The identifier of the equipment the work order is associated with.
Child work order ID
The identifier of the work order you are making a child of a parent work order. This must be a valid ID.
Equipment ID
The identifier of the equipment the work order is associated with.
Sequence
This must be a numeral. This defaults to 0.
Dependent
Check this box to make this a dependent work order. If this box is checked, the parent work order cannot be closed while the dependent child is not finished.
