The Basic Info tab enables you to display and define the list-supported Web applications for the user group.
Tip: To limit the display of information in the grid and maximize performance, use the filter. You can sort on user group ID, screen rights template ID, control rights template ID, location access template ID, department access template ID, and report access template ID.
The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays in the shared window on all User Groups screen tabs.
User group ID
Unique identifier of the user group currently selected in the grid or that you are defining. The user group description displays in the unlabeled field to the right. This field is display only.
The fields in the bottom section of this tab define basic information about the user group.
Description
Description of the user group. Free-form text field. This field is required.
Supported web applications
World Wide Web applications that the system supports. Free-form text field. Separate multiple applications with a semicolon. Vendors can use these applications to insert their organization's estimate and invoice information. Maximum field length is 2,000 characters. This field is optional.
External identifier
Facilitates support of LDAP authentication. The system can create and update user records from a configured LDAP server when a user logs into the system. External identifier must be unique when defined and not already defined by another user group. Note: User and User Group can use the same external identifier.
