Use this screen to work with allocation and assignment item assignments. You can choose whether to show or hide warnings for making multiple assignments.
Option settings for Allocation and Assignment Module
The following items are in the Options tab on Allocation and Assignment Options screen.
Assigned Asset Deployment status ID
This field is used to update an Asset's Deployment Status ID when an assignment is created using the Allocation and Assignment Screen. This field is optional and must contain a valid entry.
Enable transfer location security
When enabled, special rules on what locations enforce location access rights security are applied to the Allocation and Assignments screen and the Assignment Requests screen. This option only applies to transfer assignments and requests. With this option disabled, location access rights are applied on all location ID controls on both screens.
You can choose the warnings for the following items (Assets, Departments, Locations, and Operators). These apply to asset assignments and not part assignments There are three warning options for each item, as follows:
NEVER: The option of never does not allow you to make multiple assignments for the item. This displays a warning, and prevents the process.
WARNING: The warning option will display a warning when trying to give an item multiple assignments.
ALWAYS: If you choose ALWAYS, there will never be a warning message when trying to make multiple assignments.
You can choose the warnings for the following items (New item, Transfer, and Replacement). Requests are based on the item ID such as asset ID so that users can create multiple requests for different items. There are three warning options for each item, as follows:
NEVER: The option of never does not allow you to make multiple requests for the item. This displays a warning, and prevents the process.
WARNING: The warning option will display a warning when trying to give an item multiple requests.
ALWAYS: If you choose Always, there will never be a warning message when trying to make multiple requests.

WARNING: The warning option will display a warning when trying to make requests for out of stock items.
ALWAYS: If you choose ALWAYS, there will never be a warning message when making requests for out of stock items.
