Transfer serialized parts

To transfer a serialized part:

Step 1. Go to the Data -> Parts Activity -> Stock Transfers screen.

Step 2. Click the Prepare for Insert button .

Step 3. Enter information in the applicable fields.

In the New Status field, select SEND PARTS OUT from the choice list.
In the Transfer quantity field, type 1. (Transfer quantity for serialized parts must be 1.)
In the Serial number field, type the number of the part being transferred.

Note: You cannot change the serial number on a transfer with the status MODIFY DATA or RECEIVE PARTS IN. You must delete the line item and add a new one.

Step 4. Click the Process button .
