The following sample batch import template was created by the FleetFocus application and is displayed in WordPad.

The template consists of three lines, or records:

• Header record (first line): File name and directory path of the .err (error) and .log files, separated by a semicolon. The file paths are based on where the file was saved during the template file creation process.  

• Screen record (second line): Numerical ID of the screen on which the transaction will be run.

• Transaction record (third line): Specifies the type of action to be performed (insert/modify/delete); the number of restrictions; the number data records; the window and control IDs; and the data values being entered, modified. or deleted.
