Movement (Put-away Cards) |
The Movement tab contains a table that allows you to record part movement between bins.
Row#
Indicates the row number of the item.
Employee ID
(Required) User ID for the employee executing the put-away process.
Name
Name of the employee executing the put-away process. This field will automatically populate based on the Employee ID selected.
Date and time moved
The date and time the part was moved. The date and time moved is defaulted to today's date and time. This field is required for a movement line.
Quantity
Quantity of the parts that will be moved. Cannot be zero.
Action
(Required) This provides a choice-list of actions that can be selected to identify what action is being taken with the part. The choices are MOVE and RETURN RECEIPT. Movement to a stock bin will put parts in inventory while movement from a stock bin will remove parts from inventory.
Serial number
Serial number of the parts. Serial number can be added by clicking the Edit icon at the top of the page and editing the field. If the part is not serialized, this field must be empty.
From bin ID
(Optional) Indicates the bin from which the parts will be moved. Select the bin from the list box of available bins. If set to STOCK AREA, the bin must be defined on the Part - Location record.
To bin ID
(Optional) Indicates the bin to which the parts will be moved. Select the bin from the list box of available bins. If the movement record is set to INVENTORY UPDATE, the bin type must be set to STOCK.
Stocking ticket ID
Displays the Stocking Ticket ID if applicable.
Return purchase order ID
Displays the Purchase Order ID if applicable.
Return receipt ID
Displays the Return Receipt ID if applicable.
Comments
View comments or add a comment to a movement record. This field has a character limit of 200.
