Serial Numbers (Put-away Cards)

If a put-away process is set to AUTOMATIC, serial numbers are required and can be added to the completed Put-away card with this table. Serial numbers are optional if the put-away process is STAGED and part return is not enabled. This table allows serial number collection to be done as part of the stocking process.

Row#

Indicates the row number of the item.

Delete

Check this box if you would like to delete that serial number line item. Completed put-away cards cannot be deleted.

Serial number

Enter the serial number for the part. This value is required on a new row entry. If the serial number does not exist in the system or has a status of RETURN TO VENDOR, a serial parts record will be created and the status will be set to STOCKING.

Tag ID

Enter or select the Tag ID associated with the part. This value is optional. The Tag ID entered must exist in the system and have a status of NOT ASSIGNED.
