An ICU must be configured to locate and communicate with FA Web Modules FuelFocus before it can communicate with the FASuite database. To learn how to configure an ICU with FA Web Modules FuelFocus, refer to the FuelFocus Administrator Guide.
If your ICU has been set up but is not responding, proceed as follows:
Step 1. Use the Famatech Remote Administrator (formerly known as SunBelt Remote Administrator) to determine whether the ICU is ONLINE.
Note: The Famatech Remote Administrator is provided by the FuelFocus Installer.
Step 2. If the ICU is listed as OFFLINE, restart ProcMan.
Step 3. If the ICU is still listed as OFFLINE, open TechProg.
Step 4. To test the connection, go to Start > Run and type the value from the Site IP Address field in the Open field and press OK.
If XML code displays, then the FA Web Modules connection is working.
If a Page Not Displayed message appears, then the connection between the ICU and FA Web Modules has been lost. Go to step 5.
Step 5. Ping the FA Web Modules server from the ICU. If you are successful, make sure the application is running.
Step 6. If the application is running, start TechProg.
Step 7. Click Tec Setup. If the Clearing House screen displays rebooting, clear that message and then see whether the screen displays server error or rebooting. If you receive a server error, go to step 8.
Step 8. If server error displays, you need to determine whether anything changed in the ICU screen.
The ICU number in TechProg should be the same as the ICU number in the system.
The Site name in TechProg should be the same as the Site ID in the system.
The FASuite IP address should be the same as ICU server IP address.
Step 9. If the information in the two systems is the same, determine whether the IP address was changed recently.
Step 10. If completing steps 1 through 9 did not solve the problem, stop and restart the Web server and IIS on the FA Web Modules server. The Clearing House should reconnect and display the green online sign.
