Petro Vend K2500 Notes 1-card and 2-card systems |
The record layout of Petro Vend K2500 systems depends on the data fields you select in them. If you use Petro Vend K2500 software version 1.06 or newer, use the Petro Vend K2500 new interface in FASuite and follow the rules below:
Step 1. Select at least the following data fields from Petro Vend (FASuite ignores any fields other than those listed below):
account/driver/vehicle - equipment number is in the vehicle field
date/time
transaction number (not used)
card #1 (not used)
card #2 (not used)
product code (not used)
pump number
quantity
price (not used)
total cost (not used)
odometer
Select FASuite Fuel System #15 and specify whether your equipment units are identified by equipment numbers or fuel card numbers.
Step 2. Select at least the following data fields from Petro Vend (FASuite ignores any fields other than the following):
date/time
card #1 (this is the equipment identifying number)
pump number
quantity
odometer
The data transmitted in "Card No. 1" from Petro Vend MUST contain the number which identifies the equipment unit in the last five digits. You must set up your fuel cards so that each equipment unit has a unique identifying number in the last five digits of its card, and you must define these unique numbers as either (1) the FASuite equipment numbers for your equipment units, or (2) the fuel card numbers in the FASuite Equipment Master file record for all your equipment units.
Select FASuite Fuel System #28 and specify whether your equipment units are identified by equipment numbers or fuel card numbers.
Step 3. Select at least the following data fields from Petro Vend (FASuite ignores any fields other than those listed below):
date/time
card #1 (this is the employee number)
card #2 (this is the equipment identifying number)
pump number
quantity
odometer
The data transmitted in "Card No. 2" from Petro Vend MUST contain the number which identifies the equipment unit in the last five digits. You must set up your fuel cards so that each equipment unit has a unique identifying number in the last five digits of its card, and you must define these unique numbers as either (1) the FASuite equipment numbers for your equipment units, or (2) the fuel card numbers in the Equipment Master file record for all your equipment units.
Select FASuite Fuel System #29 and specify whether your equipment units are identified by equipment numbers or fuel card numbers.
Step 4. Select at least the following data fields from Petro Vend (FASuite ignores any fields other than the following):
account/driver/vehicle - equipment number is in the vehicle field
date/time
card #1
fuel type
pump number
quantity
total cost
odometer
In this interface, the equipment number in the Petro Vend data is in the vehicle field in the form 999999. The interface converts it to 99-99-99.
Select FASuite Fuel System #36 and specify that your equipment units are identified by equipment numbers, not fuel card numbers.
Step 5. Select at least the following data fields from Petro Vend (FASuite ignores any fields other than the following):
date/time
card #1 (this is the employee number)
card #2 (this is the equipment identifying number)
fuel type
pump number
quantity
total cost
odometer
Select FASuite Fuel System #61 and specify whether your equipment units are identified by equipment numbers or fuel card numbers.
Step 6. Other data fields are optional, and will not be used by FASuite.
