Special issue parts are those parts which are issued to work orders that have a work class code equal to the value in the Work class for special issue accumulation field on the General tab of the Data -> Parts Items -> Setup -> Options screen. Special consumption issues are special equipment modifications, refurbishments, or other than normal issues (examples: recall campaigns and special projects) which is not considered when calculating economic order quantity values for the part.
