Accumulated downtime |
FASuite records the accumulation of downtime separately for equipment units and work orders.
If more than one work order is open for an equipment unit during the same time period and the downtime on one work order overlaps the downtime on another work order, FASuite does not total the downtime on both work orders when it records the accumulated downtime hours for the equipment unit. Instead, it considers the downtime that overlaps as a single instance of downtime:
Work order A for equipment ID 100 starts downtime at 10:00 and ends at 15:00 for a total of 5 hours.
Work order B for equipment ID 100 starts downtime at 11:00 and ends at 17:00 for a total of 6 hours, 5 of which overlap with downtime on work order A.
Accumulated downtime recorded in tables:
JOB_MAIN and JOB_DOWNTIME
5 accumulated downtime hours for work order A
+6 accumulated downtime hours for work order B
11 accumulated downtime hours for combined work orders A and B
-5 overlapping accumulated downtime hours for work order B
6 total accumulated downtime hours for the equipment unit
Accumulation of downtime for the work orders:
EQ_COST_DATA
5 accumulated downtime hours for work order A
6 accumulated downtime hours for work order B
