How to remove equipment units from a motor pool |
Note: You cannot remove an equipment unit from a motor pool if the unit has a motor pool dispatch status of OUT (displayed in the Motor pool dispatch status field on Motor Pool tab of the Data -> Equipment Units -> Fleet Equipment screen), or is needed to satisfy a future reservation with a status of CONFIRMED (displayed in the Status field on the Status/Other Info tab of the Data -> Equipment Activity -> Motor Pool -> Motor Pool Center screen).
To remove an equipment unit from a motor pool, perform at least one of the following steps on the Data -> Equipment Units –> Fleet Equipment screen:
On the Assignments tab, assign the equipment unit to a department which does not have a check (ü) in the Motor pool field on the Basic Info tab of the Data -> Setup -> Organization Structure -> Departments -> Primary Information screen.
On the Motor Pool tab, delete any information in the Motor pool dispatch location field.
On the Motor Pool tab, delete any information in the Pool vehicle type field.
Once you remove an equipment unit from a motor pool, the System removes it from the pool availability lists.
