An equipment unit or linear asset accumulates user downtime from the date and time that the customer declares it to be OUT OF SERVICE or AVAILABLE FOR PM until the date and time it is declared back IN SERVICE.

If a work order is opened without a declaration that the unit or asset is OUT OF SERVICE, user downtime begins at the date and time in specified on a work order screen.

If a customer fails to change the status from WORK FINISHED to IN SERVICE, FASuite does so automatically during the next End of Period daily processing.
