Assembly Methods |
If the Equipment Planning module is installed, the Assembly Methods screen enables you to display and define identifying information about the methods of assembly to associate with equipment-planning projects. Typically, assembly methods are used on projects for in-house manufactured equipment, such as custom locks on security vehicles. Assembly methods are associated with projects on the More Info tab of the Data -> Equipment Management -> Equipment Planning -> Projects screen.
The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.
Assembly method ID
Identifier of the assembly method currently selected in the grid or that you are defining. This field has a list box. If the ID already exists, the assembly method's description displays to the right of the ID.
The fields in the bottom section of this tab enable you to provide additional information about the assembly method. Unless otherwise indicated, these fields are optional.

Text description of the assembly method. This field is required.
Additional information
Text field that may be used however you want.
