The following formula is used to apply discounts and surcharges to unit prices:

Net unit price = unit price * (1.0 - Discount percentage) * (1.0 + Surcharge percentage).

• Note: The surcharge percentage is applied to the discounted price, not the starting unit price. If you specify a discount percentage and a surcharge percentage for a part, you must set the surcharge percentage to an appropriate value for application to the discounted price.
