Instance ID

A string of up to 20 characters that identifies the particular instance of execution of a query or report. All SQL tables and views created for the SQL stored procedure should include the instance ID as a data item so that each separate instance creates separate data and multiple sets of data can co-exist without interference. The instance ID must be the first parameter or argument to the stored procedure. In the tables and view that you create for the special processing, define the instance ID column as CHAR(20).
