To specify the available technician resources, you must define the skills required to perform the tasks in the shops and then specify which of those skills each technician possesses. You can associate each technician with any number of skills. Be sure to include at least one general skill, so that tasks with no special skill requirements can be assigned to any available technician who can perform general work.

The following are examples of skills:

• Brakes

• Electrical

• Electronic

• Engine tuning

• General

• Heavy vehicle PM

• Light vehicle PM

• Transmission tear-down
