The Files tab enables you to view and insert links to data files associated with a production run.  Associated files and their descriptions are copied to the generated work order. File associations on the class/task record for all tasks on all production stages are also copied to the generated work order, along with their descriptions.

• Tip: To limit the display of information in the grid and maximize performance, use the filter. You can search on run ID, stage, part ID and suffix, requested or required date, and production ID, among others.

Identifier of the production run. Automatically generated by the application. This field is display only.

Delete

To delete the entries in the fields to the right, place a check in this field and click Save.

Path and file name

Navigation path and file name of the data file associated with the production run. The field allows both uppercase and lowercase letters to support operating systems that are case-sensitive. You can use this field to associate a procedures document, diagram, schematic, and so forth with the part. The maximum field length is 255 characters. This field has a file launch button .

Description of the data file. Maximum field length is 50 characters.
