The Comments tab displays information regarding the employee (or employees) assigned to complete the work order.
Tip: To limit the display of information in the grid and maximize performance, use the filter. You can sort on employee ID, work order location ID, priority ID[, equipment ID, and date and time scheduled, among other values.
If you perform an unrestricted Get Data, the data is automatically restricted to the employee ID associated with the user who is currently logged in.
The fields in the top section of the tab display information from the work order. The fields are display only.
Work order ID
Three-part field containing the work order identifier. The first part identifies the location of the work order’s assigned shop. The second part is the year the work order was opened. The third part is the work order number.
Job status
Status of the job.
Current work delay
Identifier of the type of work delay. The unlabeled field to the right displays the record type.
Employee ID
Identifier of the employee assigned to the work order or task. The unlabeled field to the right displays the employee's name.
The bottom section of the tab includes two free-form text fields that may provide more information about the work order or task. The fields are display only.
Task comments
Text field that provides more information about the task (information is from the task on the work order).
Work order comments
Text field that displays the comments (if any) printed on the work order.
