Product Categories


The Product Categories tab enables you to create one-to-many relationships for product categories for requiring part issues for certain product categories.

Detail View Header

The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.

Work accomplished code

Work accomplished code currently selected in the grid or that you are defining. This field has a choice-list. If the code already exists, its description displays to the right of the field. If authorized, you can define any number of work accomplished codes.

Detail View

The fields in the bottom section of the tab provide more information about the work accomplished code.

Delete

If this field has a check, the entire row is deleted when you click Save.

Product category ID

Select a product category to have that category require a part issue. With this table, you can enter many product categories, to have a one-to-many relationship between a work accomplished code and required product categories. When a work order is being finished, if this field has chosen categories, those categories will require a part issue. There is a validation if the a work accomplished code is chosen, but there is no part issue on the work order. This field has a choice-list. This field is required if there is a line entry.

Product category description

The description of the product category. This field is display only and is populated when a product category ID is selected.
