The following tasks are performed when economic order quantity (EOQ) is calculated:

• Recalculates the economic order quantity parameters for all parts in the Parts Master (PTS_MAIN) table

• Overrides the calculated order quantity so that it never exceeds the total number used during the past 12 months

• Assumes a lead time of 30 days for delivery of an order if no lead time data are available (because the part was never ordered)
