External Data Mapping |
The External Data Mapping screen enables system administrators to define data mapping between application data items and how those data items are defined in external systems. MAXQueue interfaces may be programmed to use these mappings when transferring data from one system to another.
The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.
Internal ID
Identifier of the internal ID. Maximum field length is 50 characters.
The fields in the bottom section of the tab enable you to map external data to the internal ID. All fields are optional, but at least one must have data.
External ID
Identifier of the ID outside the application. Maximum field length is 50 characters.
Data type
Type of data associated with the ID. This field has a choice list:
ACCOUNT
EQUIPMENT
OPERATOR
EMPLOYEE
DEPARTMENT
VENDOR
LOCATION
TIMECODE
NOTIFICATION TEMPLATE
Mapping use
Text field in which you can describe how the mapping is used. Example entries: Operations, Accounting System. Maximum field length is 30 characters.
