Controls are items on screens to which users can be restricted from viewing, updating, or inserting.

To restrict the controls to which user groups have access, access the System Mgmt -> Setup -> Access Rights -> Rights Templates -> Control Rights Template screen and complete the following steps.

Step 1. In the Screen field, specify the screen to which you want to restrict field access.

Step 2.  In the Tab field, specify the tab on the screen to which you want to restrict access to a control.

Step 3.  In the group row, specify the control to which you want to restrict access in the Control field.

The Screen, Tab, and Control titles display in the corresponding fields in the group.

Step 4.  Repeat step 3 for each control to which you want to restrict access on the screen.

Step 5.  Click Save.
