Allocation and Assignment |
This screen must be used along with the Allocation and Assignment web portal. To get the full functionality of generating an allocation and assignment record, you need to use the web portal. On this screen you can see allocation and assignment information created through the portal. This screen enables you to review, edit, or enter the appropriate information for allocations and assignments.
If you use the Copy button on a serialized part record that is already assigned, and click Save, an error is displayed as the item not being in stock and will not allow the save.
Data for these records are controlled by location security and will not display data from a location the user does not have access to.
Allocation and assignment ID
This field shows the identifier of the assignment.
The following items are the tabs for the Allocation and Assignment screen. To learn more about each tab's functions and fields, click the applicable hyperlink.
The Basic Info tabs allows you to enter basic information for Allocation and Assignment.
The Notes tab allows you to enter a note for Allocation and Assignment.
