To delete a serialized part from a location on the Basic Info tab of the Data -> Parts Items -> Location Information screen, the following conditions must be in effect:

• (Part and EOQ are managed BY LOCATION or ENTERPRISE): The on-hand quantity and on-order quantity on the Stock Status tab of the Data -> Parts Items -> Primary Information screen must be zero (0).

• (Part and EOQ are managed CENTRALLY): The on-hand quantity on the Stock Status tab of the Data -> Parts Items -> Primary Information screen must be zero (0).

• The part's status must be either SCRAPPED or AWAITING DISPOSITION. The part suffix indicates the status. The Part Status Tracking tab on the Data -> Parts Items -> Setup -> Options screen indicates whether part status tracking is in effect as well as the suffix associated with each status.
