Serialized Parts (Asset Configuration Management)

The Serialized Parts tab enables you to track the serial numbers associated with an asset configuration model. Serialized part components are tracked as components on models. Non-component serialized parts are the only type of part used on this tab.

Delete

Check this box and click save to delete a row.

Part ID

Identifier of the part currently selected or you are defining. This field has a list box of parts classified as serialized. The part's description displays to the right of the ID.

Part IDs are defined on the Basic Info tab of the Data -> Parts Items -> Primary Information screen.

Part suffix

Number associated with the part in the Part ID field, which distinguishes it from other parts with the same part ID.

Position ID

Part's current position on the equipment unit. This field has a list box.

Required for service

Check if this serialized part is recovered for service.
