Transaction records specify whether to insert a new record or to modify or delete an existing one. Each transaction record includes fields that specify the type of action to be performed (insert/modify/delete); the type of records to be modified; number of data items in the transaction record; and, in cases of insert and modify transactions, the new data value that is being entered and the codes which identify the specific fields into which data is being entered (or modified).
The transaction record format varies, depending on the type of transaction being processed. You may include as many import files as you like, but they must be for one screen and one transaction type.
