Screen record - batch processing |
The screen record contains the four-character numeric screen ID through which the records are to be processed. It is always the second line of the file, and its format is the same regardless of the type of batch processing to be performed (insert/modify/delete).
If the input file contains department records, the screen header record is:
2000<newline>
Each input file may include transactions for only one screen. There are two ways to identify screen IDs:
Use the Queries/Reports -> Query/Report Generator to execute the PR:UI-SCREEN ID report.
Access a screen and display its properties (screen, window, and control IDs; table and column name).
