Part ID - Note to bar code users

If you use or plan to use the optional Bar Code module, keep in mind the following regarding IDs for bar-coded part labels:

Slashes (/) may not be used in bar code IDs because they are used as special characters when scanning bar codes.
A long part ID may require a wider label size to accommodate the bar code pattern. Although FASuite part IDs can be up to 22 characters long, some label printers (such as Seiko) and some scanners (such as charge-coupled devices) may not support the accompanying lengthy bar code pattern.
