Parts issues

When FASuite issues a part to a work order, the assumption is that you are removing a part from the equipment unit to install a separate part in its place. You decide whether to issue a new, rebuilt, or used part by entering or scanning the part ID and appropriate suffix. (You cannot issue core or scrapped parts.) If a part ID has more than one suffix, FASuite does not default a suffix for you.

Most warrantable parts are also classified as having a core. The warrantable flag takes precedence. If the removed part has a core but is not classified as rebuildable, it is placed into inventory as SCRAPPED. These rules are not applied to consumable parts.
