Zoom button |
This is a Zoom button: , a magnifying glass.
If the zoom button is associated with a screen, it opens the screen where the underlying field information is defined. To view the details of a field's contents, click the button. You can enter new information or modify existing data.
Example of a zoom button associated with a screen: The Basic Info tab on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Fleet Equipment screen includes the Equipment type field, which has a zoom button. When you click the button, the Data -> Equipment Units -> Setup -> Equipment Types screen appears, which is where equipment types are defined.
If you specify an equipment type prior to pressing the zoom button, the Equipment Types screen provides details such as description, manufacturer, and model. You can then view and update detailed information about the equipment type.
If you do not specify an equipment type prior to pressing the zoom button, a blank Equipment Types screen displays. You can click the Filter button to search for equipment types.
Note: To return to the original screen after pressing the zoom button, select its title in the Window menu on the menu bar.
If the zoom button is associated with a file with a path and name, the file displays. The Assoc Files tab, for example, has a zoom button to a file.
