To adjust charges for usage time to the lowest appropriate charge, FASuite performs the following steps.

Step 1.   Conditionally adjusts for lowest charge using full days.

Step 2.   Adjusts for lowest charge using full weeks.

Step 3.   Calculates the usage charges based on the number of full months used plus the number of days, if any, in the remaining fraction of a month.

Step 4.   Calculates the usage charges based on the number of full months used plus the number of full weeks, if any, in the remaining fraction of a month, plus the number of days, if any, in the remaining fraction of a week.

Step 5.   Adjusts for lowest charge using full months, full weeks, and remaining part-week days.

Step 6.   Adjusts for lowest charge using full months and remaining part-month days.

Step 7.   Adjusts for lowest charge using full months.

Step 8.   Compares the various charges and selects the lowest total charge that is greater than zero (0).
