To calculate and adjust usage time, FASuite does the following:

Step 1.  Calculates the usage time in hours (to the nearest tenth), full days, full weeks, and full months.

Step 2.  Checks for the following conditions and, if appropriate, performs actions as a result of the check:

• CONDITIONS: (Both options must apply)

• A check (ü) in the Convert part day to full field on the Rental Rates tab of the Data -> Equipment Activity -> Motor Pool -> Setup -> Pool Vehicle Types screen

• Hours greater than zero (0)

• ACTION:

• Adds 1 to full days and sets hours to 0.

• CONDITIONS: (Both options must apply)

• A check (ü) in the One day minimum field on the Rental Rates tab of the Data -> Equipment Activity -> Motor Pool -> Setup -> Pool Vehicle Types screen

• Days is 0

• ACTION:

• Sets days to 1 and hours to 0.
