Changing a fuel tank's fuel type |
To change a fuel tank’s fuel type:
Step 1. Reduce the inventory of the tank to zero in one of the following ways:
Issue fuel from the tank to equipment units (Data -> Equipment Activity -> Fueling -> Internal Fuel Tickets )
Transfer fuel to another tank (Data -> Fuel/Fluid Activity -> Stock Transfers)
Record a zero tank reading (Data -> Fuel/Fluid Activity -> Tank Readings)
Insert a reversing receipt (Data -> Fuel/Fluid Activity -> Receipts
Step 2. Delete the fuel tank ID (Data -> Fuel/Fluid Tanks -> Primary Information screen).
Note: You must complete step 1 in order to do this.
Step 3. Define a new ID for the fuel tank and specify the fuel type (use the Data -> Fuel/Fluid Tanks -> Primary Information screen).
