Circumstances under which FASuite prints control labels |
Work Order Center screen
If the value in the Warranty field on the Basic Info tab is YES and there is a check (ΓΌ) in the Warrantable field on the Data -> Parts Items -> Setup -> Part Classifications screen, then FASuite will print a control label for the part.
If the value in the Warranty field on the Basic Info tab is NO or UNKNOWN, FASuite will check the Warranty field on the Tasks tab for the task ID to which the part is being posted. If the Warranty field value is YES, then FASuite will print a control label for the part.
FASuite will print the control label regardless of whether the part is being replaced under warranty.
If neither of the above is true (i.e., neither the equipment bumper-to-bumper warranty is in effect nor is the component warranty associated with the task), then FASuite will consider the following conditions to determine whether to print a control label:
The individual part is being replaced under warranty
The part is classified as having a core
The part is classified as being tracked as serialized
If one or more of these conditions is true, FASuite will print a control label.
