Code types |
The following list defines the code types. PO = Printer directive; DT = Character data value that is a lookup/description of a transaction data value; DV = Character data value from the transaction; BC = Bar code of a data value.
BEGIN1 (PO) – First character in the introductory sequence for a label or a bar code pattern.
BEGIN2 (PO) – Second character in the introductory sequence for a label or a bar code pattern.
BEGIN3 (PO) – Third character in the introductory sequence for a label or a bar code pattern.
BEGIN4 (PO) – Fourth character in the introductory sequence for a label or a bar code pattern.
BEGIN5 (PO) – Fifth character in the introductory sequence for a label or a bar code pattern.
BIN_BAR (PO) - Prints the bin ID on part labels
BIN_CHARACTER (DT) – The sequence of codes and characters to print a field label for the bin ID. The label text might be Bin.
COMPONENT_ID – Equipment ID of the serialized component part that was removed.
DATE_INSTALLED (DV) – Designed to be used on control labels. Date the part was installed on the equipment unit.
DATE_REBUILD (DV) – Date the part was last rebuilt.
DATE_RECEIVED (DV) – Date the part was received on the purchase order.
DATE_REMOVED (DV) – Designed to be used on control labels. Date the part was removed from the equipment unit.
DESCRIPTION (DV) – Short description of the part ID/suffix.
DESCRIPTION_SHORT (PO) – Prints the short description of the part in text format. It does not include the keyword.
END1 (PO) – First character in the terminating sequence for a label or a bar code pattern.
END2 (PO) – Second character in the terminating sequence for a label or a bar code pattern.
END3 (PO) – Third character in the terminating sequence for a label or a bar code pattern.
END4 (PO) – Fourth character in the terminating sequence for a label or a bar code pattern.
END5 (PO) – Fifth character in the terminating sequence for a label or a bar code pattern.
EQUIPMENT_ID (DV) – Equipment identifier on a part transfer. Equipment identifier from a work order on a control label.
FROM_LOCATION_ID (DV) – The originating location on a part transfer.
KEYWORD (PO) – Prints the keyword of the part in text format. It does not include the short description.
LABEL_BEGIN (PO) – Prints the next item on a new label.
LABEL_DIMENSION (PO) – Dimensions of the label stock.
LABEL_END (PO) – Signal that the current label is complete.
LABEL_HEIGHT (PO) – Height of the label.
LINE_BEGIN (PO) – Signal to print the next item on a new line.
LINE_END (PO) – Signal that the current line is complete.
LOCATION_CHARACTER (DT) – Sequence of codes and characters to print a field label for the location ID from which the part was issued or received. The label text might be Location. (To use bar codes, the optional Bar Code module must be installed.)
MANUF_PART_BAR (BC) – Bar code pattern for the manufacturer part number associated with the part.
MANUF_PART_CHARACTER (DV) – Manufacturer part number associated with the part. If you manage inventory CENTRALLY, the manufacturer part ID is from the Part Primary Information screen. If you manage inventory BY LOCATION, the manufacturer part ID is from the Part Location Information screen.
METER_REMOVED (DV) – Designed to be used on control labels. Meter reading of the equipment unit when the part was removed.
PART_BAR (BC) – Bar code pattern for the part ID/suffix.
PART_BAR_COMPRESSED (BC) – Compressed bar code pattern for the part ID/suffix.
PART_CHARACTER (DV) – Sequence of codes and characters to print a field label for the part ID/suffix. The label text might be Part.
PART_FAILURE_CODE (DV) – Fail ID specified on the part issue transaction.
PART_NOSUFFLOC_BAR (PO) – Prints a bar code that contains only the part ID. It does not include the part suffix or the location ID.
PART_NOSUFF_CHAR (PO) – Prints the part ID in text format. It does not include the part suffix.
PART_SUFF_NOLOC_BAR (PO) – Prints a bar code that contains the part ID and part suffix. It does not include the location ID.
POSITION (DV) – Designed to be used on control labels. Position on the equipment from which the part was removed. If a part is classified as Positional, then the position on the current issue must match the position on the prior issue to be considered a match.
PURCHASE_ORDER (PO) – Prints the purchase order ID in text format. Can be included on part receipt labels, but not bin labels or part transfer labels.
QUANTITY (DV) – Quantity of the serialized part being installed, removed, or transferred.
REASON (DV) – Designed to be used on control labels. Displays the reason a control label was printed for the removed part. Possible values include REPAIRABLE, WARRANTY, SERIALIZED, or CORE.
RESTOCK_LOCATION (DV) – Location where the removed part is intended to be held until it can be evaluated or rebuilt.
SERIAL_NO (DV) – Serial number of the part being installed, received, or transferred.
SERIAL_NO_BAR (BC) – Bar code pattern of the serial number of the part being installed, received, or transferred.
SERIAL_NO_INSTALLED – Serial number of the part that was installed.
Note: To print this data item as a bar code on a label generated by an Intermec label printer, use B instead of H in the code string definition.
SERIAL_NO_REMOVED (DV) – Designed to be used on control labels. Serial number of the part that was removed.
TASK_ID (DV) – Task ID performed to remove the part.
TO_LOCATION_ID (DV) – To location ID on a part transfer.
TRANSFER_ID (DV) – Transfer ID of a part transfer.
VENDOR_BAR (BC) – Bar code pattern for the vendor ID.
VENDOR_CHARACTER (DV) – Sequence of codes and characters to print a field label for the vendor ID. The label text might be Vendor.
VIN (DV) – Equipment serial number on a part transfer.
VMRS_BAR (BC) – Bar code pattern for the Vehicle Maintenance Reporting Standards (VMRS) code associated with the part.
VMRS_CHARACTER (DV) – Sequence of codes and characters to print a field label for VMRS. The label text might be VMRS. The VMRS code is from the Part Primary Information screen.
WAC_CODE (DV) – Work accomplished code performed to remove the part.
WORK_ORDER_ID (DV) – Work order ID on a part transfer or on which the part was removed.
