End of period processing

When you use the System Mgmt -> End of Period screen to perform end-of-period processing, the system performs the following tasks:

Prepares the software database for the next period (day, month, quarter, or year)
Resets accumulator fields to zero
Computes replacement cost information for each equipment unit in the Equipment Master (EQ_MAIN) table (year-end
Resets the year-to-date total business accumulator values in the Vendor (VEN_MAIN) table (year-end)
Calculates equipment depreciation; equipment lease rentals for leased units; and rental billing base charges for owned units (monthly)
Deletes old items no longer required (purge) based on Table Management retention levels
Purchase order statuses
Unused parts
(FuelFocus only) Posted, reposted, or skipped rows from FUEL_TRANSACTIONS beyond the retention time specified for fuel tickets
Calculates economic order quantity (EOQ) parameters for all inventory parts (EOQ calculation)
Caps order quantity
Sets default lead time to 30 days
