Notes |
The Notes tab enables you to record notes regarding an incident. Note text is date-, time-, and user ID-stamped and cannot be edited once it has been saved. If you generate either a work order or a service request from an incident, the notes from this tab are included in the corresponding note screens for those other entities. A header identifies the incident ID from which the note originated. If there are notes associated with the incident, this tab displays in the alert color specified on Preferences -> Color Setup.
Tip: To limit the display of information in the grid and maximize performance, use the filter. You can sort on incident ID, type, status, equipment ID, symptom, responsibility, a range of occurred dates and reported dates, and trip ID, among other values.
The fields in the top section of the Notes tab display the incident ID, the name of the user who recorded the incident, and the incident type. These fields are display only.
