NOTE TO SYSTEM ADMINISTRATORS:

To initiate automatic processing of dispatch and return information, run an APP on a separate port, specifying the –a option on the command line. Refer to the Installation Guide for more information.

All CONFIRMED reservations are automatically dispatched if:

• The date and time required on the Status/Other Info tab of the Data -> Equipment Activity -> Motor Pool -> Motor Pool Center screen is earlier than the current system date and time.

• The following conditions exist on the Motor Pool tab of the Data -> Setup -> Organization Structure -> Locations -> Primary Information screen:

• There is a check (ü) in the Reservations dispatched and returned automatically field.

• The number of minutes specified in the Minutes from last to next automatic dispatch/return processing field have already passed since the date and time specified in the Date and time of last automatic dispatch/return processing field.

All DISPATCHED reservations are automatically returned for the location if the date and time of expected return on the Status/Other Info tab of the Data -> Equipment Activity -> Motor Pool -> Motor Pool Center screen is earlier than the current system date and time. If a reservation has a status of RETURNED, the Return tab displays usage charges.
