Holidays |
The Holidays screen enables you to identify specific dates on which a schedule different from the regular schedule is run, such as a holiday. If there are multiple holidays that run the same type of schedule, you can group them into one holiday schedule type. For example, if a Saturday schedule is used on Monday holidays such as Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and Washington's Birthday, list them in a holiday type ID such as Saturday-Sched.
Holiday IDs are used to designate holiday schedules on the Schedules and Equipment Cycles screens.
The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.
Holiday type ID
Identifier of the holiday schedule. The maximum field length is 20 characters. This field has a list box. If the name already exists, its description displays to the right.
The bottom section of the tab enables you to specify the dates to which the holiday type applies.
Description
Descriptive name of the holiday schedule, such as Saturday-Sched. The maximum field length is 30 characters. This field is required.
The Holidays screen group enables you to specify the dates to which the holiday schedule applies.
Delete
If this field has a check, the entire row is deleted when you click Save.
Date
