Account Groups


The Account Groups screen enables you to define data entries that relate to an account group. An account group is a higher level of account ID. An account group, which may include many account IDs, is assigned a code.

Detail View Header

The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.

Account group ID

Identifier of the account group currently selected in the grid or that you are defining. This field has a list box. If the ID already exists, the name displays to the right of the ID.

Detail View

The data fields in the bottom section define basic information about the account group. Unless otherwise indicated, these fields are required.

Name

Name associated with the account group.

Address

Address of the account group. Optional, free-format area.

Address ID

This field contains a choice-list and is optional. Type or select an Address ID in this field. The description will populate in the field to the right.

If you wish to create a new Address ID, click the magnifying glass icon to open the Addresses screen.

Reported separately

If this field has a check, items under this account group are reported separately from other account groups. If the checkbox is blank, account groups are reported together.
