The Inventory Counts menu provides access to the following screens on which you can perform inventory-related tasks.
Effective with Release 6.3.1, if there is a check (ΓΌ) in the Enable use of Inventory Count Management screens field of the Inventory - More Info tab on the Data -> Setup -> Organization Structure -> Locations -> Primary Information screen, you must use the Inventory Count Management, Count Entry, and Count Analysis screens rather than the Inventory Counts screen.
Note: The inventory count management functionality introduced in Release 6.2.1 does not require Enterprise Purchasing. You may use the screens even if you have not yet migrated to Enterprise Purchasing. You also may continue to use the existing Inventory Counts screen. It is recommended that you not use both the Inventory Counts screen and the Inventory Count Management functionality simultaneously for the same location as this could cause unexpected behavior.

Record inventory counts in the software
Review and perform adjustments on part counts for which there is a discrepancy
Record physical inventory counts of parts into the software
