Options


The Options tab for planning setup enables you to display and define how equipment planning functions are performed. Data in the fields in this tab define the equipment and operator information. All the fields are optional.

Detail View

Require user ID of requesting person

If this field has a check, the requester's user ID is required.

Require at least one approval

If this field has a check, at least one approval is required.

First equipment ID on project is Project ID

If this field has a check, the equipment ID is the project ID.

Equipment ID to be replaced must be on only one non-cancelled project

If this field has a check, an equipment ID entered on the Equipment Replaced tab of the Data -> Equipment Management -> Equipment Planning -> Projects screen may exist only on one uncanceled project.

Indirect task ID for charges to projects and orders

Identifier of the task to use for charges to projects and orders. This field has a list box of tasks with an INDIRECT task type. When you post labor charges to this time code on the Data -> Shop Activity -> Time Cards screen, the sum of those charges displays in the Staff effort for charges to project field on the Staff Info tab of the Data -> Equipment Management -> Equipment Planning -> Projects screen.

Life cycle status code for equipment to be replaced

Status code for the equipment being replaced. This field has a list box. The code description displays to the right.

Destination location ID is

Identifier of the destination location. This field has a list box:

Automatic numbering of projects

The type of numbering method used for projects. This field has a list box:
