Pool Size Adjustment |
The Pool Size Adjustment tab enables you to specify how shop repair, overbooking, and underbooking should be considered when determining the number of available units before a reservation may be confirmed.
The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.
Pool vehicle type
Type of pool vehicle selected in the grid. This field has a list box. The type description displays to the right of the field.
Data in the fields in the bottom section of this tab define the pool size adjustments. Unless otherwise indicated, these fields are required.
assumed to be in shop for work
Percentage of motor pool equipment units at each dispatch location that are considered to be unavailable for dispatch because they are undergoing repair or maintenance in a shop. This field is optional.
to overbook
Percentage of motor pool equipment units of the pool vehicle type at each dispatch location in excess of the actual number of units of the vehicle type assigned to the dispatch location for which reservations are allowed. This field is optional.
to underbook
Percentage of motor pool equipment units of the pool vehicle type at each dispatch location for which reservations are not confirmed, even though the units are available. This field is optional.
