The Files tab enables you to view and insert links to files associated with equipment planning projects. Files associated with the template are brought over to the project automatically.
Tip: To limit the display of information in the grid and maximize performance, use the filter. You can sort on project ID, requesting user ID, originating location ID, destination location ID, budget year, purchase year, status, and purpose, among other values. You can use the sort button to specify a sort sequence. If you do not specify a sort sequence, the IDs are listed in descending project ID order.
Detail View Header
The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.
Project ID
Identifier of the project currently selected in the grid or that you are defining. This field has a list box. The project description displays to the right of the ID.
Detail View
The screen group lists the data files associated with the template. Unless otherwise indicated, these fields are optional.
Delete
To delete the entries in the fields to the right, place a check in this field and click Save.
Path and file name
Navigation path and file name of the data file associated
with the template. The field allows both uppercase and lowercase letters
to support operating systems that are case-sensitive.
You can use this field to associate a procedures document, diagram, schematic,
and so forth with the unit. Maximum field length is 255 characters. This

Description
Description of the data file. Maximum field length is 50 characters.
From template
An "X" displays in this field if the files and descriptions were brought over from the template. This field is display only.
