Functions |
The Functions tab enables you to assign a priority code to work orders, warranty claims, and production planning to help you prioritize existing work.
The field in the top section of the tab reflects the data selected in the grid.
Priority ID
Identifier of the priority currently selected in the grid or that you are defining. The description displays to the right of the ID. Display only from the Basic Info tab.
The bottom section of the tab specifies the function (or functions) to which the priority code applies.
Work orders/shop priority
If this field has a check, the code applies to work orders.
Warranty claims
If this field has a check, the code applies to warranty claims.
Production planning
If this field has a check, the code applies to production planning.
Requests and stock transfers
If this field has a check, the code applies to requests and stock transfers. This allows you to separate priority codes for the put-away process from work order priority codes.
Restrictions
If this field has a check, priority codes can be used on restrictions.
