Notification instance ID
Identifier of the notification template currently selected in the grid or that you are defining. This field has a list box. Maximum field length is 20 characters. This field is required.
Data in the detail view area provides more information about the notification instance. There is only one tab in this screen. See below for more information.

Identifier of the notification template used for the currently selected notification instance in the grid or that you are defining. This field has a list box. Maximum field length is 20 characters.
Notification instance status
There are four default statuses for notification instances.
In Progress
Stopped
Completed
Canceled
Status last changed at
The date and time the status was last changed.
Reminder frequency
You can set the reminder frequency in days, hours, or minutes.
Days: A numeric entry between 0-9999
Hours: A numeric entry between 0-9999
Minutes: A numeric entry between 0-60
Maximum number of reminders
This defines the maximum number of reminders that will be sent to the user.
Delete: Use this check box to delete a line. Checking the box does not automatically delete the line. The user must check this box and then save the template. When the user clicks Save, the entire row will be deleted.
Order: This order is the sequence in which approvals must occur, with 1 having the highest priority. The numerical sequence may overlap.
Action type ID: The action type ID is the identifier of the action type. This field has a choice list. This field is required. Approval types are defined on the Data -> Shop Activity -> Setup -> Action Types screen.
User ID: Identifier of the user. This field has a choice list.
User name: Name of the user. This populates automatically when a user ID is entered. This field is display only.
Employee ID: Identifier of the employee. This field has a choice list. The same employee may be listed more than once. Either an employee or a department must be specified, but not both.
Name: This is the name of the employee. This name field populates automatically when a user enters an employee ID. This is a display only field. Employee IDs are assigned on the Personal Info tab of the Data -> Shop Activity -> Setup -> Employees -> Primary Information screen.
Email address: E-mail address associated with the employee ID. Populates automatically when an employee ID is entered, but you change it. Maximum field length is 200 characters. This field is optional.
Note: To send a message to a phone as a text, select the e-mail option. When entering the e-mail address, you will need to know the carrier for the phone you are sending. Once you know the carrier, you can find what their e-mail address is for sending texts to phones. For example, if a user has an AT&T phone, the format for that e-mail is: 5551234567@txt.att.net.
Department ID: Identifier of the department. This field has a choice list. The same department may be listed more than once. Either a department or an employee must be specified, but not both.
Note: Either Employee ID or Department ID must be specified, but the user may not enter both of these IDs. The Department ID must be valid and active when entered.
Name: Name of the department. Populates automatically when a department ID is entered. This field is display only.

Approval state: There are several default approval states:
Pending
Approved
Denied
Not Applicable
Date and time: The date and time of the notification instance line item was approved.
Automatic approval threshold: This is where users can set a threshold limit for automatic cost approval.
Comment area: An open text field to type your comments on the notification instance.
