Meter Required |
The Meter Required tab enables you to define the requirements for meter reading information on work orders.
The fields in the bottom section of this tab define the meter reading requirements on work order screens. Unless otherwise indicated, these fields are required.
Require meter reading on opening repair order
If this field has a check, opening a work order with a job type of REPAIR requires information in the Meter 1 field, Meter 2 field, or both. The validation also occurs if the status is changed from PENDING to OPEN or WORK FINISHED. This field must have a check if the Require meter reading on finishing repair order and Require meter reading on closing repair order fields are blank. Refer to the list of work order screens.
Require meter reading on finishing repair order
If this field has a check, changing a work order to the job type FINISHED requires information in the Meter 1 field, Meter 2 field, or both. This option is in addition those requiring meter readings when a work order is opened or closed. This field must have a check if the Require meter reading on opening repair order and Require meter reading on closing repair order fields are blank.
Require meter reading on closing repair order
If this field has a check, closing a work order with a job type of CLOSE requires information in the Meter 1 field, Meter 2 field, or both. This field must have a check if the Require meter reading on opening repair order and Require meter reading on finishing repair order fields are blank.
Require meter reading on opening PM order
If this field has a check, opening a work order with a job type of PM requires information in the Meter 1 field, Meter 2 field, or both. This field must have a check if the Require meter reading on finishing PM order and Require meter reading on closing PM order fields are blank.
Require meter reading on finishing PM order
If this field has a check, changing a PM order to the job type FINISHED requires information in the Meter 1 field, Meter 2 field, or both. This option is in addition those requiring meter readings when a PM order is opened or closed. This field must have a check if the Require meter reading on opening PM order and Require meter reading on closing PM order fields are blank.
Require meter reading on closing PM order
If this field has a check, closing a work order with a job type of PM requires information in the Meter 1 field, Meter 2 field, or both. This field must have a check if the Require meter reading on opening PM order and Require meter reading on finishing PM order fields are blank.
Apply meter requirements to call center work orders
If this field has a check, the options specified in the previous fields apply to work orders opened or closed on the Data -> Call Center -> Call Center screen.
