Equipment unit conditions for equipment usage processing |
If an equipment unit meets all of the following conditions, a row is inserted on the Usage table (USG_MAIN) for the department to which the unit is currently assigned, with days used and all variable charges set to zero; meter 1 and meter 2 in set to latest meter readings for the unit; and meter 1 and meter 2 out set to latest readings less meter usage recorded during the month and year for which the processing is being run.
There is a check in the Usage tickets field on the Authorization tab of the Data -> Equipment Units -> Fleet Equipment screen, which indicates that the equipment unit is authorized for usage tickets.
The Status tab on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Fleet Equipment screen indicates that the equipment unit has a life-cycle status ID that has a check in the Status denotes that unit is active field on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Setup -> Life-Cycle Status Codes screen.
Has not had a usage ticket charged (on the Data -> Equipment Activity -> Usage -> Usage Tickets screen) since the last time the end-of-period equipment usage processing was run.
Has not had a meter reading charged (on the Data -> Equipment Activity -> Usage -> Meter Readings - Assignments - Usage screen) since the last time the end-of-period equipment usage was run, and there is a check in the Generate usage tickets for meter readings inserted on Meter Readings - Assignment - Usage screen field on the Data -> Equipment Activity -> Usage -> Setup -> Options screen.
