The Files tab enables you to view and insert links to files associated with templates.

Detail View Header

The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays in the fields in the tab area.

Project template ID

Identifier of the project template currently selected in the grid or that you are defining. This field has a list box. If the ID already exists, the template description displays to the right of the ID.

You may modify the template ID on an equipment planning project if the project status is either REQUEST or PLANNED. Once a project status changes to ACTIVE, COMPLETE, or CANCELED, however, the template ID may not be changed.

Detail View

The screen group lists the data files associated with the template. These fields are optional.

Delete

To delete the entries in the fields to the right, place a check in this field and click Save.

Path and file name

Navigation path and file name of the data file associated with the template. The field allows both uppercase and lowercase letters to support operating systems that are case-sensitive. You can use this field to associate a procedures document, diagram, schematic, and so forth with the template. Maximum field length is 255 characters. This field has a file launch button .

Description

Description of the data file. Maximum field length is 50 characters.
